Andy's Team completed a full rewire of our 3-bed 1930's house. They were polite, tidy and efficient. They talked us through everything and kept us up-to-date on progress. Rewiring home lighting as part of extensive renovation and complete wiring of extension
Andy and his team were part of a large project involving a renovation of a house and new extension. Andy was able to rewire the existing lighting circuits to accommodate a Rako home lighting system along with a complete wiring of the extension with installation of new consumer unit. As with large projects, requirements can change and nothing was a problem for Andy and his team. I was very impressed by the professionalism and fantastic advice given throughout the project. Andy was able to deliver the attention to detail I was after and I am very pleased with the end result.

Sort out an earthing problem with the electrics in my house
After I'd explained the nature of the problem (>3V between Earth and Neutral) and the changes made to the electric circuits since the house was rewired, Andy carefully thought his way through the issues until he identified the problem. Within 30 minutes or so, he'd corrected it. (A mistake made when the house was rewired, with the problem initially being masked by the earthing provided by the metal gas and water pipes entering the house - only became apparent when these were replaced by plastic pipes.) I was very impressed by the way Andy worked his way logically to solving the problem.

Really high quality team who arrived on time and worked quickly and efficiently. All mess was tidied and rubbish taken away. Once the work was complete, they took the time to check everything was working correctly (lights, appliances, door bell etc) and explained how the new unit worked. Andy came around the day after we posted the job and gave us a quote. We agreed the work and the price. He came back the next day to start the work and finished the following day. He did a great job, was very professional and friendly. He routed the cabling inside of the stud walls and did not have to cut a track in the plasterboard. So there was no need to re-plaster after.

I have used Andy over the last 6 years on a number of jobs, some big and some small, I would rather wait for him to be available than trust any other electrician. He is and his team very professional and really know there field. On this job, was the replacement of an old badly installed external consumer unit, the new one is now very tidy and easily accessible. They also future proofed the unit for expansion for lights, a small touch but one they know I will do soon. They also installed an external switch for a pump and again this looks nice and easily accessible.
